My name is Katherin 'Timmi' Perrin and I first heard of Feng Shui about seven years ago. It was one of those 'a ha' moments. I was so moved by the experience and the information, I found myself seeking out books, articles and anything I could get my hands on. There was something in its history, longevity and positive influence which resonated clearly and loudly within me. I had to know more!
At the same time, I was considering a career in personal coaching. With a successful career in the corporate world of technology and sales, I reached a place where I needed to be doing something different, wanted to do something that had more meaning and which would allow me to powerfully assist others. Coaching was a natural transition given my somewhat idealistic outlook and my always looking for the positive side of things. I knew I needed to be doing something creative and was soon having another 'a ha' moment. I realized I wanted to combine Feng Shui with my coaching skills. With a strong sense of design, I married the two concepts and developed my mission - assist others in creating spaces which allow their lives to show up the way they want it. I help people make room for the lives they desire. Freedom of Space was born and I was off and running.
Having made room in my life for my new career to flourish (i.e., I quit my corporate job!), I studied with Helen and James Jay, students of Professor Lin Yun (Black Hat School of Feng Shui) and have a prospering business. I speak, present and teach throughout New England on subjects like The Meaning of Home, Living from Within, the Logical and Mystical Influences of Feng Shui.
My mission and passion has evolved into helping others awaken to the divinity within them, helping and guiding them to create environments which support their highest Good. I notice a great deal when I am working with a client and I ask a lot of questions. This information allows me to better serve them, having a better sense of who they are and what they would like to have or where they would like to go.
The result of a consultation is usually great eagerness and lots of new energy. For some reason, people gain a sense of permission to change and release and do what they've always wanted to do with their interiors. It is thrilling to be reminded of something that you already know to be true. There is some aspect of the message which resonates loudly and clearly as Truth. They know this work will make a difference. Subtle and often not expensive, the changes are made and the phone calls and emails begin - "Katherin, you won't believe what has happened since" All of this in a good days work!
